"1984"

When Orwell wrote "1984"
In China he clearly foresaw
Citizens' activities being closely monitored
And free speech being brutally butchered
How sad it is for those who give up their freedom
In pursuit of worldly goods and monetary income
It is even sadder when friends do it
'Cause stand by we have to and quietly sit

That is why
I cry and cry
And wage a holy war against the hydra
To win democracy for Communist China
To regain Tibet's long-lost freedom
And retrieve our rightful kingdom

LOVE AND HATE

I love cars
But hate driving
I love gas
But hate the high prices
I love farting
But hate the smell
I love smoking
But hate the smoke
I love reason
But hate reasoning
I love politics
But hate politicians
I love democracy
But hate democrats (I am a Republican)
I love hope
But hate hoping
I love prosperity
But hate disparity
I love the poor
But hate poverty
I love heaven
But hate dying
I love friends
But hate fair weather friends
I love my enemies
But hate enmity
I love you
But hate your IQ
I love me
But hate my ego
I love the Chinese
But hate communists
I love Tibet and the Tibetans
And hate nothing about them
