An unusual special forces officer is leading a group of Army cadets
on a mission to Dharmsala, India -- the home of the Tibetan
government in exile. And he's blogging about his experiences along the way.

Major T.S. Sowers spent years in Iraq, as a Green Beret. These days,
he's teaching social sciences at West Point, and working on his PhD
from the London School of Economics. That is, when he's not taking
eight cadets to Dharmsala for the summer.

Sowers and his students haven't been in the country very long -- last
than two weeks. But they've already giggled with the Dalai Lama, seen
a massive pro-Tibet protest, and found the time to ruminate on the
nature of human suffering in the developing world. Looks like this is
a blog worth watching.
