Prague, Aug 8 (CTK) -- Some 40 people protested against the violation
of human rights with a banner "One World, One Dream, Free Tibet"
outside the Chinese Embassy in Prague Friday.

The protest was to remind the public of the Falun Gong movement's
persecution and Tibet's occupation on the opening day of the Olympic
Games in Beijing.

"China promised to improve the state of human rights before the
Olympics. Unfortunately, this has not happened," Bohumil Bartosek, a
supporter of Falun Gong, said in an address to the protesters.

Bartosek said he would hand a letter pointing to unfulfilled promise
to the representatives of the embassy.

Czech pro-Tibet activists from the Potala group that co-organised
Friday's protest have prepared several other events in connection
with the Olympics.

On Thursday, documentary films about human rights violation in Tibet
were shown in Prague's cinema Aero within an event called Olympic Shames.
