Deputy speaker of Tibetan parliament-in-exile inaugurated 15th National Ambedkar Sahity Sammelan

DHARMSHALA: Deputy Speaker of Tibetan Parliment-in-exile, Gyari Dolma
visited Maharashtra Dalit Sahitya Akademy, at Bhusawal, Jalgoan District in
Maharashtra, today on invitation by the Akademy. The Akademy is one of the
Buddhist Association in Maharashtra.

Deputy speaker was invited as the chief guest to inaugurate the 15th
National Ambedkar Sahitya  Sammelan (literature Meeting) dedicated towards
the celebration of Lord Buddha's occasion and the birth anniversary of Dr.
Bim Rao Ambedkar.

During the event Deputy Speaker was awarded with the "Utam Nagrik Puraskar".

The Maharashtra Dalit Sahitya Akademy also expressed its support for the
cause of Tibet, which it appreciated as an example of non-violence as
propounded by Mahatma Gandhi.
