Montreal Public Talk by His Holiness the Dalai Lama
The Canada Tibet Committee is pleased to host a Public Talk by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Wednesday, 7 September at Uniprix Stadium, Jarry Park. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The Talk starts at 1:00 p.m.
His Holiness will speak on ‘Global Citizenship through Universal Responsibility,’ a theme chosen to honour last year's decision by the Canadian government to welcome 1,000 displaced-Tibetans living in Arunachal Pradesh, India to Canada over the next five years.
Tickets may be purchased at www.admission.com or by calling 1.800.361.4595.
If you are a member or have donated to the CTC in the past two years (up to 30 July 2011), you are eligible for a 10% discount on the first occasion you purchase tickets. Your telephone number serves as the promotion code for this discount and also allows access to the purchase of court level reserved seats for CTC members. The discount applies to all seating sections. Purchases must be made online at www.admission.com or in person at the stadium. CTC discounts are not available by telephone. Contact ctcoffice@tibet.ca if you wish to verify your telephone number on file.
Simultaneous interpretation in French will be available.
Proceeds from the Talk will be donated to Project Tibet Society, which is overseeing the implementation of the immigration program to help resettle Tibetans living in Arunachal Pradesh to Canada.

Dalai Lama to speak at Montreal's Uniprix Stadium
Global citizenship through universal responsibility
(Montreal, Thursday, 4 August 2011) – The Canada Tibet Committee is proud to announce that it will host a Public Talk by His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama on Wednesday, 7 September at Montreal's Uniprix Stadium.
His Holiness will speak on ‘Global Citizenship through Universal Responsibility,’ a theme chosen to honour last year's decision by the Canadian government to welcome 1,000 displaced-Tibetans living in Arunachal Pradesh, India to Canada over the next five years.
Tickets for the Public Talk go on sale on Friday, August 5 at www.admission.com or by calling 1.800.361.4595. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the Public Talk will start at 1:00 p.m. Simultaneous interpretation into French will be available.

In keeping with the wishes of His Holiness, ticket prices are being kept to an absolute minimum ranging from $30 to $85. Each ticket holder will also have the option to accept a free Canada Tibet Committee membership to stay informed about developments in Tibet and support Tibet causes in Canada.

To facilitate security at the Talk, the Canada Tibet Committee asks that attendees refrain from bringing shopping bags or knapsacks.
