Kalon Tripa Professor Samdhong Rinpoche to visit US and Canada

Dharamshala -- Kalon Tripa Professor Samdhong
Rinpoche will visit the United States and Canada from 15 October evening.

Kalon Tripa will be in Atlanta from 18-20 October
to participate in 2010 International Conference
on Tibetan Buddhism at Emory University. The
conference will be inaugurated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

 From 22-24 October, Kalon Tripa will visit
Toronto, Canada. During this visit Kalon Tripa
will offer Mendel prayers during long life prayer
offering to His Holiness the Dalai Lama by the
Canadian Tibetan Association on 24

October. Kalon Tripa will also attend the
inauguration ceremony of the Tibetan Canadian
Cultural Centre (Gangjong Choedenling) with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Kalon Tripa will then meet “Tibetans living in
Minneapolis, Boston and Portland cities in the
United States as his final departure meeting”,
said the Personal Secretary of Kalon Tripa to TibetNet.

Kalon Tripa will return to Dharamsala on 31 October.
