A new film by Emmy and Academy Award nominated
director Frederick Marx (HOOP DREAMS), narrated
by Richard Gere and featuring H.H. Dalai Lama
with music composed by Michael Fitzpatrick,
JOURNEY FROM ZANSKAR tells the heroic, remarkable
tale of monks and children. The Dalai Lama has
instructed the monks to build a school and
preserve a culture through education. While the
school is being built, the children must be
relocated to other schools and monasteries. One
such journey requires walking over a 17,500 foot
pass with 17 children, ages 4-12. How far would you go to save a dying culture?

Fantastic cinematography! This film is in
pre-release. Be one of the first to screen it!

Academy Award nominated Director Frederick Marx
will introduce film and do a Q&A after the film screening.
