Dharamshala -- A delegation of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile (TPiE)
led by Deputy Speaker Dolma Gyari met with cabinet ministers of the
Indian government and members of Parliament, during their visit to
New Delhi from 12 - 25 May.

"The overwhelming expressed support and concern by them encourages
our delegations towards our just cause. Most of them had full support
for the non-violent approach of His Holiness the Dalai Lama," Deputy
Speaker Dolma Gyari said.

The Tibetan parliamentary delegation also met with officials of the
United Nations' bodies and embassies based in New-Delhi. The meeting
was co-ordinated by the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi.

Other members of TPiE in the delegation included Ven. Sonam Tenphel,
Dolker Lhamo Kirti and Dolma Tsering.
