"As long as human rights are violated, there can be no foundation for peace. How can peace grow where speaking the truth is itself a crime?"

Today there were over 200 Tibetans and their supporters who
turned  up to march for a free Tibet and human rights in China &
Tibet.  The march started from the Chinese Embassy and ended at 10
downing street where a petition was handed in.

Despite promises to the contrary China has not only not improved it's
human rights it has drastically increased repression before the
Olympics, Tibet has become an open prison, and all undesirables in
area's where foreigners have been allowed for the Olympics have been
sent to concentration camps, undesirables are those who are Black,
disabled, political activists, the homeless, mentally ill.

Tibet and other ethnic area's have suffered greatly.

China contradicted it's promise to improve human rights by denying
point blank that it had in fact made any such promise.

As the Olympics proceed the poor, disposessed and those minorities
like Tibetans suffer greatly under a new wave of Han Nationalist zeal.
