January 9, 2009

BEIJING, Jan. 8, 2009 (Xinhua) -- Up to the end of October, 2008, 380,000 people in the Tibet Autonomous Region have brought their account information into personal credit system. And the credit balance reached 7 billion yuan with a yearly increase of 200 million yuan.

With the development of the personal credit system in Tibet, finance institutions have simplified loan procedures and the personal credit system is playing a more important role in the operational risk of bank credit. In addition, commercial banks can prevent their risks in advance by checking the system.
