Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, will be
visiting the Netherlands on 4 and 5 June. The
Chinese authorities have expressed their concerns
about his visit, and they have subtly warned of
"negative consequences" for Sino-Dutch relations.
The Dalai Lama will meet the Foreign Minister,
Maxime Verhagen, but not the Prime Minister.

Radio Netherlands Worldwide visited the Chinese
district in Amsterdam to gauge the opinions of
the residents about the Tibetan spiritual leader's upcoming visit.
