The Dalai Lama visits IIM Indore

Indian Institute of Management, Indore invited His Holiness the fourteenth Dalai Lama on June, 10 to address the Post Graduate Program batch of 2010.  Dr. N Ravichandran, Director of IIM Indore, Mr. L N Jhunjhunwala, Chairman of IIM Indore, members of the board of governors, members of faculty, press and students were present on this occasion, stated the school's official release.

 

The Dalai Lama spoke on 'Compassion and Non-violence,' laying emphasis on the power of youth. He further appreciated the political stability in India which he foresees resulting in greater prosperity in the country, added the release.

 

Dr. Ravichandran, concluded by summarizing the Dalai Lama's messages of peace, compassion, lessons from Tibetans struggle and the purpose of one's life, added the release.
