Department of Education to select one student for UWC Mahindra Pune

Dharamshala: The Department of Education is conducting test for class X
fresh graduate Tibetan students to study two-year International
Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Course at United World College (UWC) Mahindra,
Pune.

The test is slated for two days i.e. from June 30 to July 1, 2009 and is
being held at Lhakpa Tsering Memorial Hall, Department of Information and
International Relations.

The test comprises of Tibetan and English written test followed by
interview. Around 27 Tibetan students from 10 different schools have
appeared for the test.

Only one selected student will be given scholarship to study at the UWC
Mahindra, Pune.
