Dharamsala, October 15 -- Representatives of His
Holiness the Dalai Lama from around around the
world on Thursday gathered here for a two-day annual meeting.

Tibetan Prime Minister Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche
presided over the opening day of a two-day annual
meeting being hosted by the Department of
Information and International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration.

Earlier in the morning, the representatives had
an audience with the Dalai Lama at the latter's residence.

According to the official website of the Tibetan
Government-in-Exile, the representatives from
around the world are meeting to discuss ways to
enhance better coordination among the offices of
Tibet, promotion of Tibetan religion and culture
and follow up action on the Chinese-Tibetan
conference held in Geneva in August this year.

In his address, Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche
reportedly told the representatives to strengthen
their Tibet awareness activities and assured them of Kashag's full cooperation.

The two secretaries and concerned officials of
the Department of Information and International
Relations are also taking part in the meeting.
