"For a happier, more stable and civilized future, each of us must develop a sincere, warm-hearted feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood."

Trumpets blaring
Cymbals clashing
Drums beating
Monks chanting
Prayers flags flapping
Prayer wheels humming
These are the sounds of Tibetans praying
Praying for the bright day we will be saying
Peace and freedom has come at last
Occupation has at last past
Tyranny is no longer here
Ours is the land we hold so dear
Answered are our prayers we prayed without despair
Freedom we can proudly once again declare

A curse on the world
Or a blessing unfurled
Do what you will
Evolve it will
My way or your way
It is here to stay
Make or break our day
Be that as it may

Thank you able Editors of WTN-NEWS
For bringing forth Tibet's news and Tibetan views
The job you are doing keeps us well-informed
And enlightens those who are misinformed
You labor without honor or without pay
But each time I read your news you make my day
