His Holiness the Dalai Lama Visits New York City in May

New York, NY-His Holiness the Dalai Lama will
visit New York City, May 20th23, 2010. Jointly
hosted by Healing the Divide and The Tibet
Center, the Dalai Lama's main activities will
include a public talk and three days of Buddhist
teachings, both at Radio City Music Hall.

New York, NY (Media-Newswire.com) -- His Holiness
the Dalai Lama will visit New York City, May
20-23, 2010. Jointly hosted by Healing the Divide
and The Tibet Center, the Dalai Lama's main
activities will include a public talk and three
days of Buddhist teachings, both at Radio City Music Hall.

Thursday, May 20 to Saturday, May 22, 9:30-11:30
am and 1:30-3:30 pm daily: His Holiness the Dalai
Lama will teach for three days on two profound
Buddhist texts on the way to develop compassion:
Shantideva's Guide to the Bodhisattva Way of Life
and Nagarjuna's Commentary on Bodhicitta. Richard
Gere, founder of Healing the Divide, said, "It's

talk, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will speak on
Awakening the Heart of Selflessness and discuss
the process of realizing true selflessness and
how this realization awakens a genuine caring for
others. Public Talk tickets go on sale March 18.
