Rowell Fund Applications Now Available

The Rowell Fund gives small grants to Tibetans who are working to promote their culture and environment. The Fund was set up by friends and family of Galen and Barbara Rowell to carry on their legacy in the Tibetan

community and is managed by its Board of Advisors in association with the International Campaign for Tibet .

Each year the Rowell Fund provides approximately $50,000 in grants, with the maximum grant size being US$7,500. Currently, The Rowell Fund’s chief fundraising and awareness initiative is 50 for Tibet , an outdoor

adventure that involves climbing the highest point in each of the fifty United States , in order to celebrate one mountain culture so as to preserve another. For more information please visit
