Tibetans take out peace march

Mangalore , March 11: The members of the Regional Tibetan Youth
Congress, Mangalore, took out a peace march against China's rule in
Tibet here on Monday.

'Save Tibet,' 'stop genocide in Tibet,' 'respect and obey
international laws' and many more demands of Tibetans were written on
the placards as well as on the yellow shirts worn by the Tibetan
nationals residing in Mangalore demanding for a free Tibet. They held
procession demanding Chinese aggressors to put an end to the
atrocities they have been posing on Tibetans for so long along with
other demands such as complete Independence for Tibet, to put an end
to the violation of basic human rights and cultural genocide in Tibet.

They said "unless Tibet becomes independent again and resumes its role
as a neutral buffer, there can be no lasting peace and security for
India and other countries in the region."

They took out procession from Saibeen Complex to Nehru Maidan.
