What is the reaction of France as a result of the sacrifice of young Tibetan monks?
THE MINISTER - France and its European partners have repeatedly expressed concern about the recent convictions of the defenders of human rights in China.
The issue of human rights is a constant in our dialogue and is discussed at the highest level and at every opportunity, both bilateral and European level.
It is also in this spirit that the bilateral level, we have for several years of practical cooperation on strengthening the rule of law and judicial reform.
Regarding the second question about Tibet, following the dramatic events of recent weeks, France expresses its sadness at the death by immolation of young Tibetan monks. The extreme nature of their actions reflects a deep despair.
