Oceanview Senior Living is hosting a slide show and presentation called “Tibet; People at the Top of the World” from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. today (Friday).
Presented by world traveler and student of Tibetan medicine Debra Fant, the program will explore the world of the Tibetan people and culture. Fant will show photos and share personal experiences from her 2006 travels to Tibet, as well as her more recent 2008 journey to the Tibetan exile community in India.
The presentation is free, but cash donations are welcome on behalf of the Tibetan Children's Villages, an organization that cares for more than 6,000 Tibetan Children living in exile.
