The Dalai Lama is to visit New Zealand in December.
The Dalai Lama Visit Trust New Zealand confirmed
today that the Dalai Lama would give a public
talk in Auckland at the Vector Arena on December 5.
He will give another public lecture at the Vector Arena on December 6.
The Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is the spiritual
and temporal leader of the Tibetan people.
In 1959 he was forced into exile in India after
the Chinese military occupation of Tibet.
