Hundreds of Tibetans including Buddhist monks and nuns participated in the panel discussion organised by four Tibetan NGOs.
"This is a panel discussion organised by a number of non-governmental organisations to discuss the importance of the next elections which is due in 2011," said Samdhong Rinpoche, Tibetan Prime Minister-in-exile.
"We want to inspire and motivate especially the younger generation who makes 75 percent of the voting population...the majority of voters are below 35 years of age, so we want them to come out and vote for the right person," added Tenzin Cheoying, an organizer.
