AHMEDABAD: Tibetan religious leader the Dalai Lama has said that China
will have to find a proper way to deal with others or to deal with problems.
"People from China, also I think, yet to learn importance of
truthfulness, compassionate, non-violence, these...sooner or
later...people from China have to learn these things. So relying on
military forces, so called liberation army that is short sighted," he said.
"They have to find proper way to deal with others or to deal with
problems," the Dalai Lama said while delivering his lecture on Global
Peace and Non-Violence at Gujarat Vidhyapith in Ahmedabad.
The Dalai Lama had fled into exile in 1959 following a failed uprising
against Chinese rule. He has set up his seat of power in Dharamsala,
which is regarded as the hub of Tibetan culture.
