MY PRAYERS
September 20, 2009
by Tsoltim N. Shakabpa
My prayers circumambulate tirelessly in prayer wheels
And flutter freely in the wind on prayer flags
My prayers rise up vertically in incense smoke
And disperse widely in the sky above
My prayers echo loudly in monasteries
And revolve smoothly on rosaries
My prayers chime softly in chapels
And roll gently on my tongue
My prayers beat tenderly in my heart
And mirror clearly in my mind
My prayers ring distinctly throughout my body
And reflect brilliantly in my soul
My prayers reverberate compassionately in hell
And rise spiritedly to heaven
I pray
Any where
Any way
Any time
I can
