Tibet Autonomous Region's total foreign trade value stood at US$ 393M in
2007, up by 19.81% year-on-year, recording a double-digit growth for the
sixth year in a row, according to statistics form Lhasa Customs. More
specifically, exports accounted for US$ 326M, up by 46.87% year-on-year,
while imports stood at US$ 67M, down by 36.8% year-on-year. The steady
increase in foreign trade value has become Tibet's main force behind its
