Calgary, Alberta

In Calgary, Dave led a group of supporters from various communities within China from the Olympic Plaza in front of City Hall to the Chinese Consulate.

Dave was joined by Winston Liu – a local Falun Gong practitioner whose wife is currently being held in a Chinese prison. The Alberta leg of Race for Rights was dedicated in her honour.

Dave was also joined by Tiananmen Square protester and a former Chinese political prisoner Lu Decheng see here first at the Olympic Plaza then at the Chinese Consulate.

Afterwards, Dave cycled to Calgary's Olympic Park where he received a hearty send-off from local supporters.
