Coinciding with 32nd Kalachakra teachings in Bodhgaya, Dharamsala based GuChuSum Movement of Tibet performed a play depicting plight of Tibetan political prisoners inside Tibet in the evening of  4 January, 2012. The chief guests at the event were Mr. Soudhar Patil, human rights activist in Nepal and Mr. Lobsang Rabgyal who had worked in Indian Security office.

Mr. Lukar Jam, Vice-President of GuChuSum briefly introduced the organization. The play expressed agonies of Tibetan political prisoners and their family members under the brutal regime of Chinese communist government.

The play also showed detail accounts of detentions, arrests, torture, interrogations and sentencing of Tibetan political prisoners for merely raising their voices in demanding better human rights in Tibet.
Since thousands of Buddhist across the globe gathered in Bodhgaya for Kalachakra teachings, it is a golden opportunity for Tibet activism. GuChuSum’s display of photo exhibition and the much acclaimed play tell true stories of  political oppression in Chinese-occupied Tibet.
